A brief history of the development of die casting machines

Hits:Updated:2019-09-06 16:09:47【Print】

The development of die casting technology has been more than 150 years. At the beginning of the 19th century, due to the rise of the printing industry, the typewriter used for the casting of lead type came into being. Soon, on the basis of the typewriter, it evolved into a hot chamber die casting machine.

By the middle of the 19th century, a typical hot chamber die casting machine was born. After entering the 20th century, the hot chamber die casting machine became more and more mature, and the cold chamber die casting machine came out.
In the second half of the 20th century, die casting machines experienced greater reform, evolution and innovation, and die casting machines entered a new period of development.
In the past two or three decades, the development of die casting machines in terms of large-scale, automation, unitization and flexibility has been very rapid.
In recent years, the high-tech of die-casting has continuously raised higher and newer requirements for die-casting machines. Die casting production not only dominates the casting of non-ferrous alloys, but has also become an important part of modern industry. In recent years, some countries have relied on technological advancement to promote the thinning and lightening of castings. As a result, the previous concept of using castings to evaluate the development level of a country's casting technology has changed to the level of technological progress as an important basis for measuring the level of casting in a country.
